Changes to Witton Street Surgery Appointment System

In order to cope with the change Covid-19 has had on how the doctors are able to see and treat patients we are having to make a change to our appointment system.
Because of the risk of infection from Covid-19 all doctor appointments must be assessed remotely by a Clinician first. We have been dealing with this by taking telephone calls. But due to the increased demand on us now lockdown has eased we are unable to continue this.
Therefore from Tuesday 28 July 2020 if you require an appointmentt with a GP we are asking all patients where possible to complete an 'E Consultation' instead.
To do this go onto our website – www.wittonsttreetsurgery.co.uk close the corona virus advice pop up and look for the box that says ‘contact your drs online’. Once you have submitted an eConsult, the surgery will contact you either by text message or a phone call with the outcome. If the GP needs to see you we will contact you to arrange this.
We do appreciate that not all patients are able to do this so we do have some flexibility in the system, but if you have access to the internet we ask that you use the eConsult service. It is very quick, easy and efficient. Your issue will be dealt with within 48 working hours.
